Passover

Pesach — 14th of Nisan

Every detail of Passover was a promise. Jesus kept every single one.

Feast of Unleavened Bread

Chag HaMatzot — 15th–21st of Nisan

Yeast works slowly and secretly. So does sin. God commanded a week without it.

Firstfruits

Bikkurim — 16th of Nisan (during the Feast of Unleavened Bread)

The first resurrection proves the rest are coming.

Pentecost

Shavuot — 50 days after Firstfruits (Sivan 6)

God's Spirit arrives on the very day God gave his law.

Fall Feasts

Still ahead — the return of the King, national repentance, and the Kingdom age.

Feast of Trumpets

Rosh Hashanah — 1st of Tishri

Every trumpet blast announces a king.

Day of Atonement

Yom Kippur — 10th of Tishri

Everything about this day is a shadow of what Jesus did.

Feast of Tabernacles

Sukkot — 15th–21st of Tishri

God came to dwell with his people. He will again.

Weekly

A perpetual rhythm of rest woven into creation itself.

The Sabbath

Shabbat — Every seventh day (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset)

Every week, God draws a picture of the world's final rest.
